Craftsmanship

Tom Sutherland Kitchens are handcrafted and hand finished, using traditional tools, skills, materials and working methods.

Painted kitchens are mainly crafted from Poplar wood and are highly finished to your desired colour scheme.
Traditional materials used are
Oak, Maple, Ash, Beech, Wenge and Black Walnut. These are finished with specialised oils and waxes.

We also offer more modern materials, such as stainless steel and glass mirror. By using modern and traditional materials together we create strong contrasts, that give a more contemporary feel.
